First Mover Exploration in Angola

ABOUT
MINERAL EXPLORATION OPPORTUNITY
  • Angola borders the DRC, Zambia and Namibia

  • Some of the most mineralized areas in the world

  • Major mines exist on nearly all borders, yet there are no mines in Angola

  • Mineralization clearly extends into Angola

  • There has been virtually NO modern mineral exploration in the last 10+ years in most of Angola, other than for diamonds

  • There are no significant operating mines in Angola, other than diamonds and mechanized artisanal operations

  • Current mapped mineral occurrences mostly follow road and rail works, there are essentially unexplored areas across the entire country

  • First pass exploration completed by Nazare on its first two projects has identified potential mineralization  across the project areas.

THE MAVOIO WEST PROJECT

  • Initial reconnaissance has identified areas on Cu mineralisation and potential for Co.

  • The Mavoio West Project is located on the western margin of the regional scale NNE-SSW orientated Kassanje South fault zone.

  • Contiguous to the Mavoio-Tetleo deposit

    • Over 1Mt of contained Cu at over 2%

    • Mineralised structures extend into the Mavoio West Project

  • Previously mapped mineralised occurences follow historic road/rail works

  • There is no previous exploration on the Mavoio West Project

  • Locally, the rocks have suffered intense alteration which indicate a significant fluid activity in the basin.

  • The widespread occurrence of bamboo trees is a strong indication of high Cu concentration in the soil.

  • Upright folds which are important structural features in central African Copperbelt style Cu deposits have been recognized. The folds create major fluid pathways for low angle mineralization in the host rocks.

THE HUILA PROJECT

  • Located in the South/central area of Angola

  • Immediately adjacent to the Huila Project are a number of significant hydrothermal base and precious metal prospects have been identified in the Archean basement.

  • These are concentrated along lithologic boundaries and structural features similar to the Huila Project

  •  Some of these prospects have been historically mined as small high-grade deposits.

  • Substantial evidence of significant structural control and an indication of multiple phases of hydrothermal activity which has resulted in precious metal (gold and silver) mineralization

  • Opportunity to identify base and precious metal resources within the license.

  • Review the relationship between the structural geology, litho-geochemical relationships and the local/regional hydrothermal events
